Great just what i was looking for just the basic samsung apps and all bloat ware removed, coz we can always install that later using a cab if needed :(. Will try out your ROM this weekend. I hope i don't get any CSC, Phone problems as i have yet to flash any parts other then PDA and mines are still stock Bell with JA1 PDA. Don't really want to either unless i need to for android or windows phone.

btw how come your program storage total is 151MB while mine is just 139MB weird

Program storage total is 151MB because

1) I am using JB1 eBoot for an extra 5MB ram

2) I changed the Page Pool down to 8MB

I removed all languages except for English.

aargh...is there a way to install the xt9 books? I remember I had a cab file for my old htc diamond, but don't think it'll work on o2

Thanks for the great ROM Gary. It's very fast.

I have a little problem. Can't find the FM Radio shortcut on Start Menu.

If someone knows where to find the Radio application to make a shortcut.

Thanks in advance.

I did not delete the basic Samsung apps as I use them, just the other stuff (listed in 1st post).

My free ram with SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.3 + MSkip's Ultimate Elegance is 69.10 mb

Thank you for the U/L but I have a question please : How can I have just after the flashing 115.7 MB Storage and 89.4 RAM when your photo show 145 and 99.5 respectevely????? :(

And with the SPB + MSkip 75MB and 60.3 MB ... :(

BTW the MSkip crashed couple of times and I decided to go back to Secany's JB1... :( Thak you for your effort anyway... :(

This hints that you probably need a manual hard reset after flash for the page pool changes to take effect.

To find fm radio go to windows folder with resco explorer ( you have to untick hide system and hidden files in browser settings within resco explorer ) and find FMradio2 and send to start menu as shotcut and then go to start menu folder inside windows folder and rename FMradio2 to FMradio.

do not send fmradio from windows folder because the volume will not work.

that is how it worked for me, i use the same rom

Great news. Have you cooked something in, or just stripped original ROM?

The OEM build and WMcore build versions match.

Does it mean that one can back up JB1 based setup and restore on your ROM?

What do you think?

Just removed a lot of apps.

Don't know about backup/restore. Never done it.

can i request one think you may want to add and most would agree, can you add voice command. I can upload the cab if needed appartly that allows for bluetooth dialing if it cooked into the rom before hand.

I used sprite backup to restore all my installed applications on Scany JB1 and worked fine.

Thank Gary for this lite ROM and appreciate you removed those I never used programs. It worked stable and fast.

Sorry for being a spoilt mood.

But I thought the general idea of a lite/ultralite rom is to remove as many unnecessary software as possible from the original rom and allow users to have the freedom to install their own via those ripped cabs?

Wouldn't it defeat that purpose if users started asking for their preferred software to be bundled inside? It would become a customised bloatware isn't it?

Once its cooked it, there is no way to free up those space. If its not cooked it, users will always have the option to install the cabs in.

Just a thinker.
