hey thanks for that, its available as Hungarian language, and 404 error if using English, plus i did not see the link for froyo beta 1 in Hungarian language.

You have to replace te ip-adress in the links with o2droid.phj.hu

Hey guys,

Might I ask voyteckst or anyone, what do these changes suggested by user xiho on other post exactly do?

I've been using them for quite awhile now and they really seem to improve the overall performance of Android on my Omnia II

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Changes to /init.rc)

write /dev/cpuctl/bg_non_interactive/cpu.shares 32 ~~> (Original value is 16)

write /proc/sys/kernel/sched_latency_ns 6000000 ~~> (Original value is 10000000)

write /proc/sys/kernel/sched_min_granularity_ns 400000 ~~> (Add New Line)

(Changes to /system/build.prop)

windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=35 ~~> (Add New Line)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have no idea what these changes do but If they are actually useful, could be implemented in the next beta?

Thanks in advance

Changelog for kernel (some changes are not commited yet):

- GPS - now android has fix within few seconds!

- 3g data - now it works with full speed of network and is stable

- all sensors work properly

- USB is working properly (charging, adb)

- battery driver is now ok - completely rewritten

Existing bugs:

Froyo:

- Phone bug is not fixed for now (it exists only on Froyo - for Eclair is ok).

Eclair:

- movies does not play without external player on Eclair

BTW. I'm using Eclair daily and it seems to be rock stable ;-)

Firstly i would like to thank the devs for their effort. We are all really thankful.

I would like to suggest to release the beta 2 as it is right now. There may be some guys that could help if they get it in their hands and some unresolved matters (phone or else) might find their solution.

Thanks again guys.

So no more sleep problems and normal battery usage ? :D That rocks!

Yes for sleep problem. According to battery - probably yes, but not tested because I have enabled 3g data connection.

If nobody has tried to get in contact with you so far, then probably there is no one else that is at your level and could help you.

That means we all are waiting for your news. Any date in mind?????

Thanks again man.

Voyteckst, everybody is asking for "Froyo (or Eclair)" release.

I think you are talking about a kernel release.

To clear things out, am I right?

No, both.

Why not release an Eclair Beta 3?

And the people will stop complaining with the "actual bugs" on froyo ... and then will have more time to treat and correct the froyo bugs, to a new beta 2 Froyo release ...

What do you think voyteckst?

Please first verify how this 2.3.5 works on Gt-I5700, than write. Right, it has same CPU, but nothing more (like screen, chips for WiFi, sensors, BT, GSM). It also lags very much because of unfinished OpenFIMG drivers.

More compatible is GT-I6500 (only Eclair) and SPH-M910 (Froyo, but CDMA).
