Guest cuttysark76
Can anyone please try to compile a synaptics_i2c_rmi.ko module from here? https://github.com/fopina/ZTE-Joe-Kerne ... _i2c_rmi.c I would like to try the touchscreen driver has an external module. Others succeeded with this solution in other devices. please read this example: http://nookdevs.com/Multitouch I know this driver works with a modified 2.6.29 ZTE Joe kernel https://github.com/fopina/ZTE-Joe-Kerne ... _i2c_rmi.c If I boot the phone with the ROM I have ported from the N700, I get the same touchscreen behaviour that others get from ZTE Blade and Raise Ports... So, I have modified the init.rc with this command: on boot insmod /system/lib/modules/synaptics_i2c_rmi.ko and Copied a synaptics_i2c_rmi.ko that I got from the internet (Sony X8, I believe) to /system/lib/modules/ Now I don't have any touchscreen at all... So I believe the changes i've done to the boot really work! So, if we can create an external driver module that works in our vodafone 945, we might have a solution for our touchscreen! Guest Curious Mind
Try N700 system files with this boot image (2.6.35 kernel modified from blade source)boot.img Edited April 29, 2012 by Curious Mind
Guest Curious Mind
There was some raise rom posted in this forum. I modified it a bit (actually just changed the kernel, the rest is trivial). It really works. What does'nt work at first glance are: -wifi: ar6000.ko version magic mismatch (should be fixable) -power key: raise power key is probably mapped differently (should also be fixable) as a workaround Search key wakes screen sleep up. I was really excited i didn't even try fixing the issues above. May be somebody else will. Of course if you use this rom you do at your own risk. Even i don't know if this has any side effects. here is the link for update.zip flashable from sebastian's clockworkmod recovery http://www.mediafire...cbgy13ab19tgicr And lastly thanks everyone for making this possible.
