I found that in my previous boot when governor set 122 Mhz, frequency was wrong and set to 737280/7 = 105325 Mhz..

This could be the cause that give boot issues :/

I'm trying to reboot and seems it works :D

Does this also fix the SD card issue? :D

I think issue was only your SD..

As I've already said also me have same issue with a brand new cheaper SD..

Try with SD that cames with phone.. It's a good one for a sure try :(

And try also a2-sd your phone will be much faster..

I think I've read something about higher battery drain when loading widgets from SD... that would happen if using Apps2SD, or?

By the way, the SD wasnt that cheap/low end... Kingston 8GB Class 6... :/

app2sd is an application that put a portion of apk into fat32 partition of SD..

This is slower than a2-sd and less stable. Sometimes you lost apk and widget..

a2-sd is a script that make possible to use ext partition on SD, so phone will see ext partition like his internal memory and this is most powerfull than app2sd..

Using a2-sd you virtually enlarge internal memory and phone work faster because can use simultaneously internal memory and sd card..

I've never had battery issue with widget or with a2-sd..

Of course Sd could be at least class 6 :/

And obviously a rom and a kernel that it..

Use internal mem and sd card simultaneously?

You mean memory for installing apps?

So I can choose for every single app where to install... internal/ext sd/(if available sd from froyo)

Oh, my mistake... thought a2sd is the same as apps2sd :D

I confirm by experience. Apps2SD is really unsuable. Apps disapear and sometimes comes back when they want.

I never had any issue with a2sd. You have only few steps more at start and after nothing to do and no issue to fix.

Quick report after flashing with new version.

I did at least 4 reboot.

3 went fine. But for 1 froze on the blue android. I removed battery.

I'll continue tests few days.

Note that at the end of the day battery was at 60%. Good thing.

My report after full day.

after my morning train, battery was at 80%. I barely used my phone during to whole day.

When picking my phone on my train back, battery was still 80%, great! 10 hours!

After few calls, 30 mins of mails web and else, battery was at 60%. So it seems that when sleeping phone is very light on power.

great. But IMO, better is not to go over regular proc speed.

Note also that I didn't notice any lag during mp3 listening.

Hi,

I just installed your new version of your kernel.

I was previously using happily the first version of your kernel with no problem...

With the new one I've notice a curious behavior:

Each time I reboot the metal eats 10% of the battery ! :(

the process:

Before rebooting in amonra -> battery 45%

In amonra nandroid + flashing

then reboot -> battery 35% :D (Well,... Ok,... I did a backup + flashing; let say I lost 10 % B) )

check setcpu -> battery 30% :D

to confirm new reboot -> battery 25% ;)

Did Anyone notice this also or am I alone :P ?

Cheers,

Stéph.

I confirm yesterday observation. Close to no power consumption when sleeping. No freeze today and yesterday.

No lag on mp3.

No drain on reboot (did 2 times this morning).

only noticed that waking up could take a bit of second more.

Just want to add that it could he great to have a setting 122 - 806 and another up to 1000 because I'm afraid that when using phone it goes to max so we're losing the benefit of sleeping time.
