The boot is stopped on the "Android on Onia II Loading .. " .

What's the problem now???

you may check on your partition.. you must set it right.. and one more thing.. try to remove your SDCARD, and then try it again..

Guys, with beta 2 GPS was quick, but phone didn't work for all. On beta 3 phone should work for all, but GPS is slower (like in WM). We're trying to fix this, but it can take time.

yes, we do not commonly used to GPS. But for mobile phone call it just is the most important,

Thinks for the great work!

Hi, eknohr

did you change anything to make the usb work?

I manually installed b3 to my storage, and the usb does not work now

What I did:

1. parted my storage to

a. mmcblk1p1 fat32 4G

b. mmcblk1p5 ext4 4G

c. mmcblk1p6 swap 128M

2. tar xvzf ext4.tar.gz to mmcblk1p5

3. cp haret.ext and startup.txt to mmcblk1p1

the startup.txt is from the b2 manual install package (root changed to mcblk1p5)

Hi Haymant, actuallyI did nothing

First I install Beta2, then I updated to Beta3 and after a couple of restarts it starts working,

Also after a while and just for testing I reinstall everything (format my SD card) and install from scratch Beta3, and USB worked on the first time.

ooops, just saw you own replay :P

Time is also an issue for me, so I installed ClockSync, at lease for now.

I'm trying to install Beta3, but it ask me a yes/no question.. how can I answer that question? :( what key should i press to say Yes and No?

"Warning: You requested a partition from 2799MB to 3823MB. The closest location we can manage is 3964MB to 3964MB. Is this still acceptable to you? Yes/No?"

hope I can get the manual install tutorial..

btw, my SDCard is 4GB..

It's a great job dev.. thanks a lot.. really appreciate it..

I have the same exact problem. Couid anyone find a solution? I want to install it on my SD card. Please someone help us!

Hey, anyone is having problem with 3D graphics?

Here, even "Dragon Fly", that run smooth in Beta 2, don't run well. In Angry Birds, there are a lots of white squares, and white background also.

Ah, and battery is draining too quick.

I installed in My Storage and did a swap partition in SDCard (that is working). Then, I have a lot of free RAM, so I guess that the problem is in processor.

Have you installed beta 2 or beta 3? In the newest beta, the white-square problem in angry birds is solved. I've tried these 2 games and they just works well and smoothly. Check it again!

The boot is stopped on the "Android on Onia II Loading .. " .

What's the problem now???

I think you may remove your SD card and then try to load to android once. If it's not solved, try again with the SD card in slot.... :)

The clock on the phone is always 1 hour back (with automatic time settings). If i set a different time zone (setting a "wrong" one, considering where i live), time is correct, but when i reboot, clock is again 1 hour back. It is exactly the same problem I had for Beta1, but i never solved...

Beta 3 installed and i have always this problem: PLEASE help me to fix it.

I executed the patch timeupdate.zip present on the project page (from Android teminal).

It basically force the phone to use network time:

sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db <<!

select * from system where name = 'auto_time';

update system set value = 1 where name = 'auto_time';

!

Actually after each reboot the phone uses network time (either if manual time settings has been set), but the clock is always 1 hour back.

What can i do to solve the problem? (suggest me everithing, i'm able to access the phone truth Ubuntu and i'm able to use android terminal server).

And now comes the best part:

BEAT 3 IS FANTASTIC: i'm using it in the last 2 days, and it never crashed/stopped; Wifi ok, bluetooth ok, phone, ok,.

I finally and definitively switched to Android.

Once i'll fix the time (that i understand is a problem of mine, that follow me from beta 1), i'll have a perfect Android on Omnia 2.

DEVs: thanks and congratulation.

Hi guys,

First of all, congratulations to the dev team for the great job they are doing.

The only problem i have is the battery consumption. With wifi on to synchronize my mail I got 8 hours. And now the big problem, connected to the car using bluetooth, I only got at maximum 2 hours!!!

Does anyone know any trick that i can use to get less battery consumption?

For me battery lasts around 24 hours (calls, some 3g connections, not to much wifi)

Hi voy.... your battery last that long?

Does it have anything to do with what phone part we are using?

Mine is

PDA - I800NXXJJ1

CSC - I800PROJJ1

PHONE - I800XXJJ1

What's yours?
