Where Android is installed?

Change strartup.txt: remove /block

For Storage Card =

Set CMDLINE "rootdelay=2 root=/dev/mmcblk1p2 init=/init console=ttySAC2,115200 vmalloc=256M"

For MicroSD =

Set CMDLINE "rootdelay=2 root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 init=/init console=ttySAC2,115200 vmalloc=256M"

Or use it here with 122, 145 or 168 MB of RAM:

- Starting from the storage card: MicroSD card must be inserted

Which market? the Himarket that comes with the rom or the real Android market? I installed Android market but was not able to install anything, it just hangs at 'starting download'... market can however allow me to find and install all the apps you mentioned, opera mini, whatsapp, etc.... It just won't actually install !

Hi, xheretic, to download the b2, go to http://o2droid.phj.hu/index_en.php

It is b2, and works quite well. I recommend you to install it on internal memory as it is really faster (unless you have a really good sd card).

To install it on internal memory, use this tutorial:

I´m waiting for beta 3 from chinese web: http://www.linuxsight.com/blog/2982

It has been already released, but it has a lot of chinese stuff.

On this web, you can find several links, but I don´t know which is the "clean and light" one. (without chinese suff)

The beta 2 in official is cyanogenmod beta3 which is much more newer.

I can read chinese, i am sure about it.

The road map of i8000 android from android 2.2 is

2.2 beta 1 > 2.2 beta 2> 2.2 beta3> 2.2 cyanogenmod beta 1 >2.2 cyanogenmod beta 2 (final version, no more official update)

So your stated "beta3" is actually the old version.

I really enjoyed this Chinese version, mainly for its lightness!

but still spends a lot of drums, which makes it unfeasible for daily use.

the language problem is solved easily by downloading an application called 'MoreLocale 2'!

96-128MB is enough.
