VPN not connecting

I have configured a VPN connection and the "Work URL Exceptions" to sync with my exchange server (my IT department does have SSL open to the mail server).

The Q doesn't seem to want to initiate the VPN connections so it can't find the exchange server nor can it find my intranet vie IE.

I have done this with other WM5 smartphones before and it worked with those.

Does anyone have VPN working? trying to figure out if this is a global issue or an isolated issue.

I have spend over 5 hours on the phone with Motorola support and they haven't been able to help me.
