Its the micro switch in the headset socket. Try pushing the headset plug in and out a few times. Otherwise you can try to clean/reset the switch with the end of a paperclip in the socket (CAREFULLY). Guest awarner (MVP) Posted July 21, 2006 Report Share Posted July 21, 2006 If it was stuck in headset mode then it would be the headphone socket, but as it's stuck in Car profile then there will be a short in the pins on the bottom connector.
