I dont trust Toshiba much, had E800 myself and had not pleasant experience with this company.

Their E80x PDA models were too very innovative several years ago (first WM PDAs with VGA screen).

But support sucked (partially due to devices being almost completely outsourced to ODMs), and after period of negative backlash from users they decided to quit USA & Europe PDA markets altogether. Later I've read that this "mistake, backlash & quit" was usual for Japanese companies - they were used that users in Japan enjoy studying devices themselves, and dont expect good support as western noes. So their E800 series were just abandoned after a year of being introduced and all support was confined to Japan and users were left literally hanging in the air.

Now they think that they should take a bite from smartphone market. But personally I wont tie myself with Toshiba mobile device anymore.

I heard about some of that too. One can hope they have learned from that and are going to make it different this time around. I would really like to see some of those screens Toshiba is using in their Japanese handsets to make their way to Europe. It could hopefully also get HTC, Asus, etc. to incorporate such high resolution screens :)
