Guest tobbbie Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 Why can't the do-new exe files get the location of the installed programs from the stored shortcut at: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSPWORD and HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSPXL Would be do easy and if the install CAB works consistently (also hacked ones, possibly) no further problems expected. I have hacked a _setup.xml myself to have Mobile Office installed where it should be (i.e. \Program Files or \Storage Card\Program Files), but the Do-New seems to work only if the office apps are located in \windows - sad :-( If anyone is interested, the _setup.xml is attached (along with told one). Don't ask me for the office apps or how to replace the _setup.xml in the cab file.MO_setup_XML.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
