Guest ninjaap
All right, there seems to be a lot of confusion over google maps' my location feature. this feature can be used with or without gps. if your device does not have gps, google maps uses some sort of cell tower triangulation thingy. not sure what the official term is. so in theory all devices can use this feature. not true... according to google ( i have included a link below ), not all devices are supported. here is how you can find out if my location works for you: start google maps click menu click help click about -if the box contains "myl: N/A", it means your device isn't reporting a cell, and your location may not be available. http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/a...amp;topic=13541 I can speak only for Q9h users: my location is not supported on devices without GPS. Euro versions do not have GPS. Edited March 26, 2008 by ninjaap
