Guest Mark
3 will be the first mobile phone network in the uk to bundle Laptops with it's mobile broadband. The packages, expected to be introduced in August will be subject to a minimum 24 month contract and will include 5gb of data allowance. Of course, this is not new as AOL and The Carphone Warehouse already offer similar deals, but this will be offered directly by the network instead of by a reseller. It is also expected that Orange and Vodafone will be introducing similar offers later in the year. 3 intend to launch with three HP laptops, including the Pavilion DV6000, bundled with the 3 USB mobile broadband dongles. The packages to be offered will cost from £30/pm. More here: http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/3_is_first_op...nd_dongles.html
Guest tsutton
A good offer, but I'm a bit put off with the 24 months contact! However it's still a good deal if you're always on the move and needs Internet access!
Guest Paul (MVP)
So... 720 quid over 2 years... if you live in an excellent HSPA area where this is a viable alternative to real broadband, then it's not too bad... P
Guest Paul (MVP)
Bear in mind also that a pre-pay 3 USB Broadband dongle is now only £39.99 at Play.com, free delivery too... P
Guest Confucious
£7.50 / month for 18 months for 5Gb is £135 (before quidco and friends cashback) which leaves £585 to buy a laptop....
