Unlock your O2 iPhone for FREE!

O2 has announced that by 11th November, you can unlock your iPhone for FREE, but only if you're on Monthly Contract. For PAYG, it's one -off fee of £15 which will be taken from your airtime balance.

But the best thing is - it's "Official", rather doing the unofficial "hacks" out there.

You will need to fill out the online form at http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/unlockmyiphone.html and it will take up to 14 days for the request to go through. Once approved, just put in your non O2 SIM card, connect it with your iTune and you're sorted!

Have you unlocked your iPhone from O2? Was it easy & painless?
