Tethering - any progress to make it work on mini?

Barnacle connects but if I try to access a web site I just get a warning saying "message too large"

I know this has been raised some months ago but wondered if anything has progressed to make it operate correctly.

I use 2.0.5pre8 of this wifi tethering app on my U8100 and it works perfectly out-of-the-box.

Doesn't seem any different. It connects OK but the connection speed is almost zero. Do I need to make any particular setting changes to get it to work.

Thought I'd try Barnacle 0.4.2 and it works!!!
