Suitable Silicone Case & Screen Protector for San Francisco by Orange

I ordered a cover from fleabay for the E72 from seller 'globus.group'. Arrived with 2 days. Very pleased with it, snug fit and within 10 mins 2 year old son decided to drop it on floor, and it survived.

Will have to do something regarding the headphone hole at top and camera window at back, slighty raised opening, but because it's soft the power and ringer covered is fine as I can still click through case. The charge port is open.

Excuse the floral-ness, but I am a girlie :P

I'd love one of those that keep the hardware buttons uncovered, but all I've seen have these patterns that I absolutely do not like. Gonna stick with the unicolored one and hope that there's gonna be a dedicated Blade cover.

Took ages and was very fiddly to do it neatly.

I have a silicon case for E72 and also trimmed it a bit and I am not really happy with it. I would like a propper case designed for ZTE blade, so just google today and found this "invisible shield.: http://www.devdef.com/collections/vendors?q=ZTE

Its not too expensive and seems quite resistant but I have not experience with these full body coverage shields - are they too tricky to apply?

I bet he/she used a scalpel No 11 or 15c.

SCB015.jpg

I used a Dremel clone, it's a McKeller 18v rotary tool/kit which I got a while back reduced from £25 to £10 at Focus included 60 different bits ranging from sanding to polishing etc. I used a small cylindrical sanding bit. It was a bit time consuming but I wanted it to be neat as it's a Christmas present. I'm probably going to have to do the same again when my cheapy £1.59 black/grey silicone E72 arrives.

HTH,

Cheers.

Very good job for a dremel then :P

Personally I think that providing you have an steady pulse, a sharp and small blade scalpel is the way to go :D

Very good job m_2 and nice choice of pattern :P

Magnets - it really isn't to everyone's taste, but I love it. Have had it for a while now and it's still snug and does the job of protecting it from the odd sprog knock.

I doubt they're the same quality

I've used InvisbleShield in the past on handheld GPS receivers, though not touch screen. They are very much superior to normal screen protectors (much tougher) and have a lifetime replacement warranty (though postal costs from the UK make this less attractive).

Application method is also vastly improved.

There's a 75% off deal on ZAGG at the moment for the i900 full body, only $6.25 + $5.75 shipping, making about £7. Throw in 20% Quidco and IMO it's quite a bargain, I highly recommend ZAGG screen protectors. Ordered mine today, once my OSF arrives on Thursday and this arrives I'll let you know how it is.

News on this? Thanks

im really desperate for a good cover for this phone... the e72 cover seems to be getting the best reviews? (at least from the pictures the e72 looks great). i hope they come out with one soon for this phone!

wasnt sure where to post this question, but i bought this phone yesterday on payg from the orange shop. when i returned home and unboxed i realised the phone was WHITE. now in my opinion, i think the white looks cheap and tacky. i was not expecting it at all, but nevertheless i thought i would try it out and see if i warmed up to it. ive used it, charged it etc but i think it is just awful. do any of you reckon i would be able to swap the phone for a black version instead, taking into account i have used the white one? i am really not happy with it ;)

thanks in advance!

After getting a few cases on ebay i eventually found this. It's the best one i have got so far as it doesn't block access to anything an except the vol down button.

Its pretty solid and fits really well.

check out the pics....

Looks good but does it hold on securely? It looks like it would easily slip out of the front. ;)

I can literally turn it upside down and shake it and it wont come off. Its a secure fit.

I have these types of cases for my Blackberry 9700. They do hold the phone very securely (good fit), no wobble. However they are extremely brittle. They are usually made of a very shatter prone plastic. I have already cracked my case several times just by taking off and putting on the cover itself. I think you could drop it once onto the ground and it would be useless after that.

I am going to keep using my very cheap E71 gel case until something better comes out.

The quality of mines looks pants though compared to dizzytiz white case. If it came in pure white I would probably use that instead.

This one doesn't seem to crack so i'm really happy.

i bought two other cases...one like yours, which was ok and another which was just plain horrible. I prefer this one as it hugs the phone and doesn't take away from it's appearance and no cutting needed.

Oh course....im just waiting for an custom case to come out specifically for the SF. ;)

e71 case vs e72 case, which is better, looking for one that does not cover home, back, mennu keys. prefer it if there is a silicone version. also was looking for something that is easy to cut if i need to and does not fall out.

thanks
