i Like to UpGrade LG GT540 to Froyo.Any idea or Tips For me Please....

Firstly, you should wait until there's a chance that 2.2 will come out on the GT540.

At the moment, LG have only just pulled 2.1 out of the bag, so i wouldn't hold your breath!

Its fake look at the Kernel is 2.6.29 only used on android 2.1.

Android 2.2 used Kernel 2.6.32.

hmmm i think it's fake because it's running only on computer, when it will run on my device then it's real

yes... i know Russians are working on 2.2 ver of software but i'm not sure can they develop it fast, and i think it's going to past some time before we get real stabilized version of gt540 2.2 rom...

Yes, I put it on Youtube, but do I believe it? That's the $64,000 question!!!

I'd like to think that it's true, but I guess that, like everyone else, I'm just hoping, and won't believe it until it's actually installed and stable on my 540!

i c, but do take into consideration that the Russians were the first to put 2.1 on the phone.

I found some useful information on a site in Russia about the upgrade to 2.2 for LG GT540. Here you also find all necessary files for upgrade. I have not tried but if someone is risking tell us about the firmware.
