Guest rickywyatt Posted November 28, 2010 Report Share Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) ive made a kitchen to edit boot.img this is for windows only you need ActivePerl download it here extract my kitchen to your c drive -------------------------------------- (1) then click 1.bat to extract the boot.img-ramdisk.gz , boot.img-kernel Ramdisk folder then you can edit the ramdisk folder like e.g change startup logo , edit init.rc (2) then click 2.bat to rebuild the boot.img (3) put your phone into fastboot then click 3.bat to flash the boot.img hope this helps people out Edited November 28, 2010 by rickywyatt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

New boot.img not same with original, I don't get any error message. I flash images original is working, new isn't working. Can somebody help me? Thank's. I made 4.bat: cd c:\Workfolder mkdir tools\flash\ mkbootimg --kernel boot.img-kernel --ramdisk boot.img-ramdisk.gz -o C:\Workfolder\tools\Flash\boot.img --base 0x02e00000 I unpack with your 1.bat & repack with 4.bat the problem is same.
