Humm....I sure hope its AMOLED like in UK :P

I say this because the San Francisco in Portugal was advertised as having AMOLED, and later that was removed, and the truth is that the Portuguese SF has an LCD screen.

Spezification is different from Overview

So Spec Sheet says 5MP Cam

The portugese one is calle Sapo A5

Here it is the link to the online shop.

http://loja.optimus.pt/Particulares/Telemo...San%20Francisco

In this catalogue it says that it has an AMOLED screen, but in the print version that was removed (page 11 in the PDF)

http://other.static.optimus.pt/oferta/cata...tos%20natal.pdf

We also have another version, that has the 5Mpx camera, and the LCD screen (this version will be on sale soon)

http://a5.sapo.pt/

The difference between the SF and the A5 is the camera, both have 512MB of Ram and an LCD Screen.

They are from different networks ,the San Francisco is from Optimus, and the A5 is from TMN, the curious thing is that the A5 is 40€ cheaper and has 5Mpx ,a lifelong GPS licence and an 8GB SD Card (rumour).

You pay an additional 10.- CHF for the SIM with 15.- CHF credit.

Yes, it's available from the 6.12.

90180360 , will you buy it when it comes on sale?

If you do, could you please confirm if it is AMOLED and not LCD?

I'm currently not in Switzerland, but I will have someone buy it for me.

Will try to confirm it it's AMOLED or LCD.

No, they do not.

And to buy one you need to prove that you live in Switzerland :P

I asked on facebook if it was the version with 256 or 512MB of Ram, they said to see in the site ;) , but in the Ok Mobile site it does not say how much RAM it has.

I sure hope that for that price we'll have OLED+512MB, but I think that its too cheap for that.

I hope we have good news later today :P

I've just picked up a Orange San Francisco for CHF 110 (~ € 84) from an ok,- mobile sales point at Zürich central station.

The device is basicly the same like the British one, coming with 169MB of free memory, OLED display and the same rubberish housing (allthough the dummies displayed were glossy).

The ROM build-number is OCH_P_P729BV1.0.0B01 - anyone interested in that?

I'm pretty sure Sebastian404 will want to add that to his library!

PS - Your shops must open really early!!

Unfortunately the Swiss San Francisco comes with TFT-displays allthough "ok,-" admitted it was OLED on their website.

Yeah, there's already outrage on their FB page. The description on their website is definitely wrong.

And to buy one you need to prove that you live in Switzerland ;)

You don't need to live in Switzerland to get prepaid. All you need is to show your ID.

(Different story if you want to get a contract.)
