Low Camera Quality

I've seen a lot of example pictures taken with the Captivate, and they look really nice. However, most of the time the pictures I've taken with my Captivate are pretty low quality. The most noticeable problem is that the pictures look like they're laying behind a screen door.

As you can see, mine look terrible in comparison.

Anyone have any ideas why and/or a fix to this issue?

Well your photos are coming up as 0.3mp 640x480

The "other" phones you linked are 4.9mp 2560x1920 

Indoors are never going to be great on a phone camera.

You have presumably set for 5mp and superfine, and taken the protective film off the lens?

Hah, I forgot to change the resolution.

It is now on max, and I"m about to upload it to Facebook to see if it looks better.
