InternalMemory low

4 posts in this topic

Hey all,

I just bought my Acer Liquid Metal a few days ago...

The phone memory seems to be quite low...about 20Mb left out of 185Mb...even though I have installed all the applications in the SDcard...

I updated my phone to the 2.2.2 version of android...

Heard that people have over 100Mb free...so just curious...

1.Any ideas on what is taking up the storage...??

2.How much space do you people have in your Phone memory...??

3.Any way to view the contents of Phone memory..??

Ok this is startigto get annoying... :D

Did a factory reset...got around 120 MB of free space..

I have installed oly 6-7 apps that too gmail, facebook etc...

Now gradually the memory has come down to 20 MB and says insufficient phone memory..

IS there a way to install all the non-movable phone apps to sd..??

maybe an ext3 partition in SD card..??

Ridiculous really... :(

Yeah you can, not all but mostly all. Wouldn't put widgets on though, if you are rooted then you're set to go, if not root your phone I put the gingerbreak app on sd and rooted that way once rooted download move to sd enabler and open then you can move apps to sd thanks ken
