Fully agree. On Nexus One it was always to dark, but the problem is, that automatic brightness don' go to deep.

However. Hoping for fixes^^

Great Paul! :) :) :)

the problem of ScreenFilter is that it reduce brightness all the time. If I'm in direct sunlight, i want full brightness.. but into the dark.. i need less brightness. This is the concept of the automatic brightness :P Activate and deactivate ScreenFilter is not a definitive method.

Total Screen Control is your answer. A LOT more configurable than SF, it can also handle "bright light" conditions.

I can't set "Bright Light Detection" with my LG2X. I can't finish Bright Light Calibration.. it can't read sensor value. Any suggestion?

Perhaps we need to wait for an update to the app. Didn't realized it wasn't working on 2X. Sorry.
