Guest jokstar Posted August 11, 2011 Report Share Posted August 11, 2011 Situation is that the tablet does nothing when power button is pressed. Charge light comes on when plugged in but nothing. Batter was around 60% when it broke. Device is rooted with TJ Style's ROM. I installed ubuntu. Everything was fine. I stupidly typed reboot in the terminal to sort a stuck app in ubuntu. Guest jokstar Posted August 12, 2011 Report Share Posted August 12, 2011 It seems the problem really was that it wouldn't turn off. I left it overnight then put a pin in the reset hole (haven't seen one of them in a long time) and it rebooted with a very low battery. Hope this helps someone in the future.
