Guest Novek
Just as Christmas begins to close in and the rumor mill winds down, the folks at GSM Arena have struck gold. Whether you're a Sony Ericsson enthusiast or you want a phone with an HD display and the Galaxy Nexus wasn't your thing you'll want to take a look. Codenamed Xperia Nozomi, we believe this handset to be the Xperia Arc HD, due early next year. The design is interesting and while it's very Sony Ericsson, it's also a move away from the look of the Arc/Arc S. At a first glance, it took us back to the good old days of the k810i. We can't say if we prefer the design to the other Arc models until we get hold of a unit, but it's definitely unique and should be safe from a certain litigious rival Specs and more images after the break! Main Specs: Gingerbread 2.3.5 (unfortunately)4,3" LCD @ 1280x720 pixels12 megapixel camera Snapdragon dual core SoC @ 1,5GHz with an Adreno 220 GPUHDMI port capable of 1080p1 GB of RAM The Nozomi unfortunately lacks microSD support, which means you'll have to make do with either 16GB or 32GB of internal memory. It also requires a microSIM, and like the razr has a non-removable battery. Source: GSMarena This item was promoted to the News page - click here to view.
