Guest boristhespie Posted July 20, 2012 Report Share Posted July 20, 2012 My San Fran screen flicker on and off. Now more off than on. Seems like lose connection for when on its stunning. Sometimes it slowly goes black. More often, is in and then off. A tap used to bring it back then a twist. Progressively worse. Any ideas? Loosexconnection or knackered. Guest hydo1 Posted July 22, 2012 Report Share Posted July 22, 2012 (edited) I have seen this problem before. It is to do with the screen ribbon cable sliding out of place. You need to remove the back cover, battery, sim card, rear housing then there is a large ribbon connector on it three is a white clip which you will be able to gently prise up (be care full of the ribbon cable) then remove the ribbon cable and put it back in again and fold the clip down.
