A: We don’t have a confirmed date yet but will be posting once it is ready. Q: Will the software upgrade be OTA? A: Yes, we expect it to be available OTA. Q: Will this be the same as the previous software version that did not work? A: No. This is a new version of the software. Q: Will this fix all the issues raised on this forum around the existing ICS software? A: We have prioritised the most urgent issues, as we have been able. The new software will correct the dictionary issue. It will also bring enhancements to USSD and OpenGL2.0. Other issues continue to be investigated. Q: Why the delay in fixing these other issues? A: So far, we have not been able to replicate these other issues in a test environment. We continue to investigate, and we will get back to you when we have more information. Q: Will this one have passed Google’s compatibility test suite? A: Yes, this new software version has passed CTS, as the last one did. Reports claiming otherwise are incorrect. Q: Will this version be free from additional Vodafone software? A: The G300 is a Vodafone handset. This new version of the software will come with prescribed Vodafone software. Q: Will you be releasing Jelly Bean for the G 300? A: There are currently no plans to release Jelly Bean for the G300. We will keep you posted if this changes. Q: How do I downgrade to Gingerbread?
