I had a simple .zip a while back where i could just change the recovery.img and flash it. Yeah but backing up sd-ext worked with CWM4 as well, sd-ext issues were with TWRP and maybe CWM5 afaik. I don't see anything different aside from the removal of some useless options (clearing battery stats for example). Pretty sure you are WRONG, see this thread: I've used the flashable .zip on my blade and it works like a charm, so yes there can be a flashable CWM, but somebody has to do it ... The following link shows you a custom version of 5.0.2.7 that I love and still use on my Wildfire because the functions on there are brilliant and have their reasons for being there... Here is a link to the thread on XDA --> http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1112971 would be so brilliant if more of these functions such as "Turn device off", ext2/3/4 partitioning, etc etc be included in future releases of CWM for the Skate...
