I have tried a lot to download the ClockworkMod Recovery! I still don't get how to do it

What is the easiest way possible to get this done? :/ Anyone?

With plenty of attempts when I boot the phone with the vol up and power! I still go to stock CWM

Model Number: Huawei U8815

Android Version: 4.0.3

Baseband Version: 2030

Its rooted too!

Follow one of the existing tutorials - e.g.

http://www.modaco.co...date-root-more/

http://huaweig300.com/huawei-g300-install-a-custom-jelly-bean-ics-rom-from-scratch/re-root-unlock-bootloader-install-clockworkmod-recovery/

or here

http://www.modaco.co...e-updated-1513/

Once you have any version of CWM installed you can then flash any specific one required by a particular ROM.

Hope this helps

Do you mean that it all worked and you are rooted and have CWM now?

Bear in mind that CWM 6.0.2.7 is the latest and presumably greatest.

You can use ClockworkG300.exe here to get an older (?) version installed:

http://huaweig300.com/huawei-g300-install-a-custom-jelly-bean-ics-rom-from-scratch/re-root-unlock-bootloader-install-clockworkmod-recovery/

Once installed you can install another version of CWM using CWM itself.

DON'T use that tutorial to unlock the bootloader though as it does it using a hacked bootloader which can cause 3G reboots.

Use this instead to do an official bootloader unlock if necessary:

http://www.modaco.com/topic/362821-tutorial-how-to-officially-unlock-the-bootloader-with-definitions-relock-guide-included/

Make sure you understand what you're doing.

Read up on stuff here before doing anything.
