Google Play gift cards now available in the UK

Google Play gift cards have been available in the US for a while, and now you can get them in the UK too!

Spotted by eagle-eyed Tweeter beardylonghair, the cards appear to be available in £10 and £25 denominations in Tesco. Have you seen them elsewhere too? Let us know!

Cards can be redeemed by launching the Play Store on your device, hitting the menu button and selecting, you guessed it, 'Redeem'. :)

Can I use it outside of UK-buy here and send to anyone living everywhere?

I was given $50 (USD) in Google Play gift cards by my American father-in-law for Xmas. When I tried to redeem them I got an error saying, "only available in the US". I got in touch with customer support but they wouldn't do anything about it.

I don't suppose anyone is interested in buying them?
