Problem Importing Phonebook Into Bluetooth Hands Free System

1 post in this topic

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this or has come across it before.

A loty of the numbers in my phonebook are in the international format (+44 1234 123 123) but when I try to import the phonebook into my cars built in hands free system the number imports without the preceding '+' sign so the number +44 1234 123 123 would import into the car as just 1234 123 123 which obviously won't dial properly. My Huawei G300 on the other hand does import the numbers complete with the preceding '+' sign and works fine.

So, at the moment, I have to import the numbers into the car system with the G300 but then I can quite happily use the Jiayu G3 to make the calls. This is not a major problem because once the numbers are imported (from the G300) it doesn't have to be done again unless I add another contact to my phone but it is annoying.

Any ideas as to why this is happening or if there is a way around it.
