Laptop bags

If there's one thing that I get slightly obsessive about as well as phones / gadgets, it's bags for carrying my gear. Weird eh? I don't like phone cases really at all, but I do like to have a nice selection of options for carrying my devices about.

Just lately I picked up a couple of new bags, including this one for my Chromebook 550.

I went for a bag a little bit different to those I have already, the STM Small Alley 13" Macbook Pro Bag - Carbon from GearZap.

The reason this bag is a bit different to my other ones is because it takes the laptop 'end on' and so is tall rather than wide. Another appealing point was that it has room to accomodate my laptop and a tablet inside with seperate space still available for chargers etc. The bag is, as you'd expect, 'carbon grey' with a large front flap which itself has a zipped pocket. Inside is another velcro flap under which are the three aforementioned areas. A zipped pocket and a smaller 'open' pocket are also under the main flap. Finally, a zipped compartment is on the back of the case, ideal for a magazine or newspaper. :) A large, adjustable webbing strap (with movable padded section) is joined by a carry handle, very useful.

The bag feels very nicely made overall, and is pretty reasonably priced at £39.99.

What bags do you use for your gear? I've lots of others to talk about if anyone's interested. :D
