Guest PaulOBrien Posted May 30, 2013 Report Share Posted May 30, 2013 HTC have just announced the 'HTC One with Nexus User Experience' - the much rumoured HTC One with the stock Android experience. To be available in the US only initially (important point - INITIALLY!), the 'special edition' device is priced at $599 and out of the box will run Android 4.2.2 with subsequent software updates provided by Google. The device will be available via Google Play from June 26th and includes 32GB storage (unlike the 64GB equipped developer edition). More details can be found on the HTC blog. It's pretty likely that flashing the software onto 'regular' HTC One devices won't be too tricky with an unlocked bootloader, so this is good news for everyone. But... are you sure you want to give up all the HTC niceties (camera etc.) to get that stock experience?
