MoDaCo Mobile Week 77 is live on air tonight

1 post in this topic

As usual, Paul O'Brien and James Norton will be hosting the MoDaCo Mobile Week, our regular podcast, tonight at 8pm BST (that is 3pm EDT) live via a Google Hangout.

You can watch the show streaming from YouTube right here on this page or go to Google+ to watch and ask questions in our Q&A. We will try and answer all your questions!

In tonights rather more serious edition, we will be asking Paul what the time is just so he can look at his G-Watch. If we are all very lucky, Paul might have tried out the first custom ROM for the G-Watch which claims to improve both performance and battery life.

This leads to a big question. Many custom ROMs say they add either greater performance or battery life. Have you ever experienced a ROM that improved either? Of course if a custom ROM allows you to mess with the clock speeds of the SoC in your phone, performance could well be better, but other than those sorts of changes, we would love to hear your thoughts on the effectiveness of custom ROMs. It almost goes without saying that we will discuss stability and warranty issues as well.

To round off this weeks podcast we will be asking whether the Samsung juggernaut is grinding to a halt or has merely hit a few bumps in the road given their less than stellar performance in Q1 2014.

So please go ahead and comment on either of these question in this post or join us for the live hangout where you can also make your voice heard on this important subject. If you prefer, you can call us on 01379 888206 (from inside the UK) or 0044 1379 888206 (from outside the UK) and leave a message with your views. We are both on Twitter and Google+ as well, so feel free to let us know what you think.
