The 515 is based on the HTC Canary design (SPV), but with an improved hardware specification. The key revelation is that it will run the SmartPhone 2003 Operating System! You can read more about the handset here, but the spec is quotes as follows: - Operating System: Microsoft Smartphone 2003 - CPU: Ti OMAP 133 MHz - Memory: 32 MB Flash ROM , 32 SDRAM (more than the original SPV) - Dimensions: 119.9 mm x 50.1 mm x 23.5 mm - Weight: 126 g - tri-band GSM: 900 / 1800 /1900, GPRS, MMS What this means with regards to the potential updatability of the SPV / Tanager design is unknown, as the memory size is increased in this handset... but watch this space for updates as we get them!
