Guest mactac Posted May 1, 2007 Report Share Posted May 1, 2007 ok ,so when i watch a video on my htc621 (running wm6), it shows the pic quite small. if i switch to full screen mode, it rotates it 90 degrees & stretches it horizontally. is there any way to change this? full screen mode is essentially useless like this. Not only that, but if you are using TCPMP instead (whic I do), it is no longer able to play some formats, stating that the codecs are not installed. Guest truant Posted May 14, 2007 Report Share Posted May 14, 2007 It only seems to happen with AVI and WMF files. If you play the ones captured on the Dash they show normal. This problem is only on the released version of WM6, the Beta WM6 didn't have this problem... There must be a fix. Maybe someone can find the file from the Beta version that's different? [HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation] "LandscapeMode"=dword:0 -- Scott Yost Software Development Engineer/Test Microsoft Corp. I tied this in the latest WM6 build from T-Mobile, it works. You need to create the Rotation key and value, they don't exist by default. My full screen does not rotate 90 degrees anymore! Looks great. ** In order to do registry changes on your Dash/Excalibur you need to first Application Unlock your phone and install a registry editor.
