Just got my T-Mobile MDA Compact today, loaded up BetaPlayer and loaded up the Matrix Trailer which is also available from there site. Was gutted to see there was a big bright green dot near the top right hand corner. Anyway... some one said apply some pressure to the Dead Pixel and it may disappear, tried it and no luck.. thought the guy was crazy who had originally said it. After a while of video playback though it started flashing different colours and got smaller. So I tried again placing slight pressure around the Dead Pixel while the video was playing and Suprise Suprise, It disappeared. No Idea how the TFT technology works, But if your Dead Pixel starts flashing give him a little massage, might be just what he needs to come back to life. Either that or the fact I was playing the Matrix Trailer, those green flashing characters scrolling up and down my screen may have done something to my MDA. "Damn pixel!! go away!!!" *prod* *prod*rub*rub* *rub* flicker flicker gone!
