Guest seattleneil
Hello. I use the QTek 7070 here in the US on T-Mobile/Voicestream service. It works very well. I have ROM version 1.50.9.1. Is this update ok for me if I use T-Mobile service in the US, or is it only for Swedish users of Qtek? Thanks so much. Guest gokiburi
I just updated my Hong Kong Qtek 7070. The ability to read chinese is gone, which is fine with me. The only problem is the T9 Dictionary which now contains swedish words hardly contains standard english words. Is there anyway to fix this? Can I replace it with a file from a UK phone? If so, can someone from the uk send me this file? Thanks in advance.

The update on qtek.se is the same rom as the previous one exept for new MSN files, still 1.50.9.1. So if you use the swedish version now, you shouldn't have any probs with the update exept that it will erase your IPSM.
Guest seattleneil
Thanks for the responses! I also found another potential source for qtek 7070 generic upgrade, but in UK English: http://www.ppcw.net/index.php?itemid=1685 I'm not sure yet which I will use -- Qtek or PPCW.
