But now it seems they are selling the software to unlock the phone for about 700 euros :shock: . It will work using the synch cradle, and it will be licensed only for a specific pc by a security code. Maybe they changed once more their mind, I don't know. Guest lonegunman Posted February 29, 2004 Report Share Posted February 29, 2004 As we all know by now there is an unlocker out for the E200 (it also does the SPV,E100,XDA and XDA 2), this I'm told work's with out the need to downgrade the phone and will give you the code in under 2 minutes, now due to the fact that all of the above phones can be unlocked with free software (only on the XDA's do you need to downgrade) I think the asking price of £350 :shock: is a little high, the reason I was given for the high asking price is that it is aimed for people in the unlocking game to buy this software as it saves all the trouble and time of doing a downgrade to unlock. Now I have asked in open forum the guy from the UK who sells this software (also a member on here) if I send my E200 and £30 will he unlock it for me........guess what no reply so it gets me thinking is there such software out? I have seen no screen shot's (in the unlocking game that is not normal) not even on the guy who own's this software site. My guess is wait till the first round of update when people have more info on the working of the software then we might so some form of unlocking for this phone, till then spend you hard earned cash on buying the code form Orange or who ever has it, also as I'm on a moan here why are the beta testers being so mean on not releaseing the new rom files, we know that they are out there, would it not be better if loads of people had them on there phones than just a few? or how do I become a beta tester :?: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You GUESS..... it didn't work :? Program used "unlock_total_SPV_series.exe" Works just on SPV and E100 (I tested it :twisted: ) prob just a rename as fun for the stocked ones with an locked E200 I think. If you bought the phone you should at least use it locked for a year before they unlock your phone. And for now there are no unlock applications yet availeble we all are waiting for it. I received an phonecall from Orange NL last night and they seem te get a problem with Orange UK. I don't get why but they make problems to give the unlock code. I don't get it because all Orange abbonement phones are simlock free in NL there you always have to pay the abbonement anyway. But The E200, E100, SPV and the M1000 are locked. But the result is the same isn't it? You have to pay your abbonement anyway. And one thing more I use Orange in the Netherlands so why should it be a problem it stays in a Orange Network isn't it?
