Hi there...[updated]

This is the port of ids software doom to smartphones platform

fetures as i can recall and was not in that other version is....

-it supports sound now...
-load/save is working...
-works with any doom version
-music support!!


* and volume up(v2) ::: shoting
# and volume down(v2) ::: opening doors
escape command ::: bringing menus
power button ::: faster screen(v1)
call button(green) ::: changing windows layout...londscape/portrait(v2)
voice button-map
softkeys--strafing
0---Run mode

simply copy your wad files to where you put this....

for music you have to download mydoomce2
convert your favorate sound to wav or ogg
name it doom.wav(or doom.ogg) and place it in same directory
and enjoy!
if you dont want music you can use -nomusic option or dont place any sound file in directory.

wav file doesnt reduce fps that much but it doesnt reduce it from 12~18 to 6~12
ogg is very bad as it has very harder decoding algorithm.

for those MITAC owners(which have problem with second doom version):
i have added -nogapi option.use that.


wad file wich you can use is:
doom1.wad
doom.wad
doomu.wad
doom2.wad
doom2f.wad
plutonia.wad
tnt.wad

there is a way to make those big wad files run better...
i will add that option soon.

also as you know doom got lot of keys....tell me how do you like to use them and......what keys are really important...as i've got some idea for making all keys availble....

Good work, plays well with sound but button mapping of back button to return the user to the menu so that they can save/load is currently not working

He doesn't work on my SPV E200 with the 2.6 French ROM. After the loading he returns to homescreen.

i cant get to work on the E200 either

Neither can I. I have the .wad file in the correct place ( i take it it looks there ?) - Game starts to load, and some text scrolls up the screen, but then nothing happens.Just returns to menu.Any ideas ?

For anyone experiencing the closing of Doom after the text scrolls on the grey background i'm sure it'll be a wad file problem, namely that you haven't got one or its in the wrong place. It has to be in the same folder as the exe file.

Nice pört. Exit by 0, menu appears, quit game then actiön. prompt appears, whats next? he he, cant exit, be experimenting för a whilé.

well i tought as "y" is on 9 keypad and "n" is on 6...it is best keys for yes and no......well i think wasnt that good idea )
those who has still problems on e200 please send me their .dbg file.....
(but first please make sure you have done everything correctly)

when i turned my phone off, then back on again and started to play doom, it had lost the save game file, i had to start from the beginning again.

im using an e200.

WOW!! if this went any faster on my mpx200 it'd take off!!! Excellent work!We need an option to increase the brightness tho.
