i guess i am not subscribed with the GPRS service from Fido.......

Do you know any good plans that includes GPRS internet for FIDO?

The plan i am using is a very basic plan, so i guess it does not come with a GPRS internet service......

If you only have WAP over GPRS then you could also try using proxy port 8080. It might give you better access to download Internet sites.

Change proxy to

Create a proxy connection

connect from the internet

connects to: WAP Network

proxy: 205.151.011.011:8080

type: HTTP

You might still have problem with Messenger and Imail POP3 though as this most often needs a full internet connection.

I have just subscribed to the Fido GPRS Internet, and it works with the internet settings that was provided above, THX A LOT! but the charge is kinda expensive:

In Canadian dollar:

$0.03 per KB

$5.00 per 500 KB

$25.0 per 5MB

$50.0 unlimited

And if you have subscribe to a plan for example the $5 plan. Once you have used over 500KB of internet access, they just cut your service out.

I have subscribed to the $5 plan yesterday, just to try how it works. I went on to yahoo.com with everything (displays picture, and everything else) then after that i wasn't able to access any other websites anymore...

I am now thinking if i should subscribe to the unlimited plan..... but the problem is what are the chances that i would access internet with my Mio as long as the pocket MSN feature is not out yet. The only thing i am interested in doing with the internet feature with my Mio is to use the MSN messenger....

I think you have to upgrade to the latest ROM version to get MSN messenger to work.
