Guest sunny31 Posted May 27, 2004 Report Share Posted May 27, 2004 ok Ive read that if you import ur contacts from outlook, that the name wont appear on the front screen but the number will which is because of the (***)-***-**** format outlook uses, well i did some editing and made the numbers appear like this ********** , becuase i read on another post that if you put just #'s that the name will appear. This didnt seem to work so anyone knows how to get the name of the person to appear and not the phone number on the front screen please let me know thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest jmoney37 Posted May 29, 2004 Report Share Posted May 29, 2004 i got mine to show the name on the external display. what you have to do is make sure all the numbers in your contacts and on you sim match.
