Yes, its not as straight forward as setting the PC .cfg file, we dont know what each of the keys on phone are reconised as in rooz's port, we could do with a Key Map Rooz

yup, we could indeed, although a quick scan throught he cfg file would tell us that the volume up/down keys (which are bound to lookup/lookdown atm) are being recognised as
.
then its only a case of switching this around with other controls - that is of course, if the cfg file is operating correctly, as i do not think that vol up/vol down are regular keyboard characters, as the cfg suggests. interesting

if i find time i will change it myself but here is my suggestions....
first note that you cannot override # and * for now as i hardcoded them...but here is list of wat you m8 need
# f9
* f8
sofkey1 f1
sofkey2 f2
volume down f7
volume up f6
record f10
so if you want to assume something to record change value of f10
and sorry you cannot also change volume down and up.....hardcoded too!

tried changing both soft keys to jump and crouch, but they still do the same things, which i think is a help menu and a save menu. But the thing is when i press it it goes onto either of these menus but when i come out it looks like the jump has been perfomered (screen reacts suitably) but why does the menu still come up?

m8 be fault of original game....as they never thought anybody asign jumb to f9 for example!!!!
so in anyway it does what they wanted f9 to do.....

Rooz, i just have to tell you again that i LOVE this game. Its definatly the best best best thing around, since this game came out my MPX beats any portable device!! Microsoft should give you money for creating the Killer App for their OS

Amazing port Rooz! Thanks so so much! I love it! I remember the countless hours i spent shooting monsters when i was a kid. Great stuff! You da man.
Any plans to convert Unreal 1 for the MPX yet?

for level 2 you need to press the use key and the elevator comes down a little and will let you out.
the brightness is not saved, you need to manually alter it to a higher level in the CFG so not to mess with it in game.

One more bug. When i'm in level 2 and i enter the room with the pool table, the game crashes. I think it has to be something with the pool table code that crashes...

i had tried the shareware version and is working fine

ive had it working now... working great as in the shareware version..
only thing is that u hav 2 press/move the dpad when the loader starts to load the welcome sreen.. to avoid returning to your previous screen (e.g. smart explorer or where u placed the shortcut)
i also have the atomic version of duke3d. (>40MB)
ill try it later..
hint: got it from google search.. (its the keyword that matters to get the right file..)

Hey it works on my standard SPV, there's no sound and you have to wait for a few seconds for the fps to become decent but once it does it works fine.
i can even save and load games on it.

Yea, saving/loading works, but savegames are lost once you quit the game.
