Guest RemyJ Posted August 22, 2004 Report Share Posted August 22, 2004 Sorry it took so long. I'm getting to despise this platform from a development perspective. :x This version fixes the issues with iconbgcolor showing black by default and causing the homescreen not to load if explicitly set. http://smartphone.peakin.com/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 23, 2004 Report Share Posted August 23, 2004 Remy: I'll hijack this thread to ask you a RJShortcut question since it has your attention. <!-- RJShortcut --> <plugin clsid="{F3750050-8E30-4c61-A864-4301F5D7C065}" height="15"> <!-- hiding shortcut icons by placing 217 in the x --> <shortcutbar icon-spacing="2" icon-size="small" x="217" y="0"> <shortcut target="/Storage/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Power Calendar.lnk"/> <shortcut target="/Storage/Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Power Tasks.lnk"/> <shortcut target="/Storage/Windows/Start Menu/Communications/Internet Explorer.lnk"/> <shortcut target="/Storage/Windows/Start Menu/Utilities/Smart Explorer EN.lnk"/> <shortcut target="/Storage/Windows/Start Menu/Utilities/SP Task Mgr EN.lnk"/> <shortcut target="/Storage/Windows/Start Menu/Communications/Call History.lnk"/> <shortcut target="/Storage/Windows/Start Menu/Multimedia/WMPlayer.lnk"/> <shortcut target="/Storage/Windows/Start Menu/Settings.lnk"/> </shortcutbar> <appname valign="top" y="0" x="17" font-size="12" font-weight="normal" fgcolor="#1F274E"> <format state="selected" font-weight="bold" fgcolor="#1F274E"/> </appname> </plugin> I'm using the above code to show the appname only. I'm moving the icons out of the way by placing them 217 in the x. Is this the only way to do this? Am I placing the shortcuts there unnecessarily? Guest SuperCharger Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 I am also having a problem installing the RJShortcut, I get a failed to instal error. I have a mio8380 and it is decert. I had no problems installing the other rj plugins, can anyone help? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest RemyJ Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 Let me look at it. I may have accidentally signed it with a development only certificate. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest RemyJ Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 Try downloading from the web site again. http://smartphone.peakin.com None of the RJ plugins are signed and it didn't appear that this one was either, but I recompiled and packaged it anyway. Let me know. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest ljbigblue Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 Hi I can't install either from the cab or from RJsetup. Have just downloaded and tried again with the same result - rjshortcut failed to install. I am using MPX200 app unlocked. Any Ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest RemyJ Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 Hmmmmm. I'm running out of ideas. It installs fine on my i600 and from a security stanpoint, that's one of the most goofed up platforms there is. Do you use either RJTime or RJTasks? Could you try installing one of them and see what happens? They were built with the 2002 development tools while RJShortcut was bbuild with the 2003 versions. Maybe I just need to go back to the old tools. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest yoos Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 I am using a Voyager with the latest imate ROM (1.10.15.2) and had the older version of RJShortcut installed. I didn't have any problems at all when installing this updated version. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest ljbigblue Posted August 27, 2004 Report Share Posted August 27, 2004 RJTime and RJTasks have installed just fine. SuperCharger said in his earlier post that he had no problems installing the other plugins either. Perhaps you could make the earlier version of RJShortcuts available for users who have problems? Guest RemyJ Posted August 28, 2004 Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 OK, I just posted another version compiled with the 2002 toolkit. Still works fine on 2003 but now it should install and work on 2002 as well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
