Below are some pics, my full thoughts to follow soon, but since i'm very happy with this unit, i'm going to arrange for it to be stocked in the MoDaCo Shop (http://smartphone.modaco.com/shop.htm) shortly! Guest Paul [MVP] Posted August 28, 2004 Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 Yes, it is the Fortuna, but in a nicer colour and rebranded :) The price will (most likely) be £199.99 inc VAT and delivery, with all the bits above included, including Pocket PC nav software. I was about to ask the same question myself about the price of the Belkin one. Think I'll be going for the Fortuna myself.......Maybe something to consider for the shop Paul? Presumably the extra cost incurred is for the navigation software it comes with, which I don't think the Fortuna does, but the software the Belkin comes with is useless from a Smartphone point of view, you wouldn't use it. Alternatively, can anyone recommend the software required for the C500 to be able to use the Fortuna system? Because looking at the software section on the website I linked to above, it looks to be in the £60 region. If that's the case, then it would be worth paying the extra for the Belkin system. As for which one it will be, well that depends on what is recommended in these fora to be honest. If other members rate this particular unit highly, then that's good enough for me.
