Guest icecold316 Posted May 19, 2005 Report Share Posted May 19, 2005 I cant get this to work at all!!! ;) Have tried following the instructions x2 now and still it is sim locked!!! :P Do i run the update from the desktop and how does the unlock patch work as when i double click this it appears as a black dos screen for a split second then dissapears,is this right??? Guest fluffcat1 Posted October 1, 2005 Report Share Posted October 1, 2005 This guide enables you to use the E200 with a sim card from any network by modifying the Rom, IE the operating systems. 1. Install a zip program such as winace or winrar 2. Download the latest Update for your country from your orange site. 3. Right click on the file downloaded from the orange site and click extract to. Choose a location and extract 4. Download the file e200unlock.zip from this website >HERE (Click on text Télécharger le patch E200Unlock) As the original host has gone offline, with the permission from the mods I'm attaching the e200unlock patch rom zip file. Guest marcledger Posted November 2, 2005 Report Share Posted November 2, 2005 when you run the app to edit the rom it tells you if its successful, no other way to test other than using sim card <{POST_SNAPBACK}> doe this have to be used with xp or should it work with win ME? Thanks AFAIK latest/ last UK is 2.7.1.1, 2.7.5.1 is Swiss 2.7.2.2 is French you can bodge the foreign roms onto your UK handset if you wish. Do a bit of googling for more info.
