No idea about how one goes about setting it up - I am a pretty useless newb when it comes to this online gaming thing. I haven't played online games since the first Doom - I haven't summoned up the courage to speak to anyone over the Communicator yet! I have also only just figured out how to play some of the team games (the bomb one blew my mind for a bit)! I also haven't played much of the one-player campaign yet - did my usual Halo trick of getting really far through a level and forgetting it doesn't save when you get a "checkpoint done" message, so was merrily charging through level 2 had to go out and just switched off the box. Back to the start of level 2 and I am now finding it hard work - just wish the marines would stay behind me! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Heroic is far harder I'd say then legendary was in Halo (original) but have to say found the Halo 2 campaign a little too easy on normal. Also rather peeved at the ending although spose it sets up Halo 3 and the launch of the Xbox II! Would definately be interested in joining a live clan once I get hooked up to Xbox Live! Guest Dr Who Posted November 28, 2004 Report Share Posted November 28, 2004 Times I've been able to play it it has been sunny, and I only have lightweight curtains so the screen has been difficult to see properly. Hardware failure. Need the missus to go out so I cane it properly. Seems pretty easy on Normal compared to Halo1, but I fear the Legendary. Multiplayer is a great addition for replay value though. Guest Dr Who Posted November 29, 2004 Report Share Posted November 29, 2004 Is the best way to do this for everyone to PM their gamertag, modaco name, real name (?) then in a few days time I will mail everyone with the full list and people can add friends as they want. How does one do this - I guess you just message a particular gamertag? I haven't really got much of a handle on any of this yet, cos the missus is always watching I'm a celebrity. Grrrrrr. Once there you can add a friend by inputting their gamertag and then you have to wait for them to accept you friend invite after that you just look for when people are online!! See ya there! Well up for a bit of online Halo 2 - had live for a long time but rarely use it. I'd much rather play with/against MoDoCo'ers than the usual random situations I find myself in like being in a Chinese speaking game in Star Wars Battlefront. I'm enjoying Halo 2 but was not impressed to find the Flood back again. Also, what happened to the level they showed on the pre-relase trailer ? Had a quick raz earlier and realised I am abjectly poor. Notice everyone I signed up so far was on a higher level than me. The word, "millstone" springs to mind. Particularly bad at the bomb thing - didn't even see it once in my last match. D'oh! Anyone know how to change my gamertag? Notice I am now an offial Modaco Addict. I did once when I think I managed to hit my opponents head with the SMG and he died real quick, although his shields may have been low. Otherwise I always, and I mean ALWAYS, die first. Is there a trick I am missing. I have even tried melee attacks and always die before I reach my opponent, which never seems to happen the other way round. The amount of times I have had some dude charge at me and batter me over the head - it doesn't bear thinking about. AND I don't know where ANY of the cool weapons are on ANY of the maps - hence I keep charging over the hill with my SMG only to get sniped, rocketed or assasinated by somebody who is cloaked.
