M2000- a tribute to build quality

When you have something as expensive as an M2000, and it travels with you on trains, in and out of the cradle, thrown on the desk and clipped to your belt, you've got to wonder whether it will stand the treatment.

Only time will tell how they stand up to long term abuse, but here's my experience today that may give us cause for hope.

Gently place phone on motorcycle pannier as I get helmet and gloves out of top box. Jump on the bike and head down the road at an appropriate speed for an 1100cc motorcycle.

Couple of minutes later notice something out of the corner of my eye- glance in the mirror to see my phone bouncing down the road at around 50mph. Aargh!

The phone stayed in the case for a while, but flew out in the end. Case and phone ended up in the middle of the road, fortunately missed by following cars. There are a few war wounds on the plastic, and a couple of impressive dents in the metal casing, but everything works fine!

Phew!
