Guest ricmoo2003 Posted December 17, 2004 Report Share Posted December 17, 2004 I to would love someone to create an sms app just like the treo's, for those that don't know when you received a message on the treo it was stored as a kind of chat thread, so you could see a history on the screen of all SMS's between you and that person, abit like MSN Messenger but permanant. I've just got an xda2s but i'm still using my treo600 for texting as its so much better. I'd love to finally ditch the treo, but need a similar SMS app! But I havent seen the version you talking about ;) .... so if you guys what to give me a better run down what the app looks like and what it does that's so nice I'll see what I can do. I need to know things like, how does it know when the message received was part of the previous conversation? does it require the other person to have the same SMS software? I'll use the description at the top give me a starting point. Let me know if you want me to try this... Actually, this wouldn't be all that hard to write, if you are familiar with writing GUIs. The mail DB is already there, you just need to plug into it to get the messages.
