Guest Pagemakers
I am in the UAE at the moment. If I buy an iMate Jam here will it be any different to buying the same thing when I bet home to the UK?
Guest Paul [MVP]
No, they will be the same. P
Guest Pagemakers
Yea, I just had to flash it with the UK ROM to get rid of the Arabic stuff on it. Took me 5.5 hours to download the ROM using the lousy 26K connection here in my hotel room :D
Guest Paul [MVP]
Ouch, not good! :D How are you finding your new toy? P
Guest Pagemakers
I like it. There are some things I don't like. Sending a text is a pain. I wish it was a little more of a 'one handed' device, but then I guess that's what I have a C500 :D (although I am very tempted with the SP3i but that's another story). Due to the slow connection out here I can't install many of the enhancements I would like onto the Jam. I will have to wait until I get home. Guest Paul [MVP]
Why on earth would you want an SP3i? ;-) I agree the Jam could be better one handed, particularly for sending SMS, but at the end of the day the key problem is the lack of feedback that you get with a keypad.
