Guest idavid Posted January 4, 2005 Report Share Posted January 4, 2005 hi. have been fiddling with my email in pocket outlook. i can get my gmail to work fine, but cant get my orange.net mail to work at all! can anyone tell me the right settings? currently they look like this: email address: ******* your name: ***** nothing inparticular, just who you want to be... user name: different to your email address. password: ******* account type: pop3 name: orange.net (or whatever) incoming mail: pop.orange.net outgoing mail: smtp.orange.net domain: ???? When you set it up for the first time it will say connecting for 6-7 minutes before anything happens (dunno why). When it has completed its first send receive it will work normally. Give it a go.... They would have sent you a letter to confirm it.
