Dont think it would be possible unless Orange released it as an official upgrade (which they probably wont now the M2000 is out - its not worth their while).

Don't forget they have completely different hardware, each ROM image has to be taylored to the exaclt hardware spec...

Dyl, check out the XDA developers forum.
I've got my M1000 running WM2003SE, from"Mystery Man"'s ROM update.
Be aware of the possible pitfalls when refashing your M1000, though.
Oh, and find the CAB which sorts out the MMS settings.
